# Workflow runs

> Inspect and cancel event-to-call workflow runs.

Open **Workflows** → **Runs**. Runs appear here once a published workflow starts.

## Find a run

Search runs, then filter by status and workflow.

## Run status

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Queued | Waiting to start |
| Running | A step is in progress |
| On a call | Waiting on a live call |
| Scheduled | Waiting on a delay or schedule |
| Waiting on linked workflow | Blocked on another workflow in the series |
| Blocked | The outcome of a step is unknown |
| Completed | Finished successfully |
| Failed | A step failed |
| Cancelled | Stopped by you |

A run is **Blocked** when the outcome of a step is unknown, for example a call that may or may not have been placed. **Fail blocked runs after (minutes)** fails those runs and frees the slot. `0` waits until someone cancels the run.

## Inspect steps

Open a run to see each step's input, output, and status.

Use **Jump to issue** to open the failing step. **View JSON** shows the recorded payload. Oversized output is truncated in the dashboard.

Condition steps show **Condition true → Fulfilled branch** or **Condition false → Not fulfilled branch**.

## Cancel

* **Cancel run** stops one run.
* **Cancel active runs** stops every active run for that workflow. Press again to confirm.

Enable **Send the failure webhook when a run is cancelled** if the start-node webhook should fire on cancel.

You can also cancel from the [Workflows API](/api-reference/workflows/cancel-runs) by concurrency key or for every active run.

## Common step errors

| Title | What to fix |
| - | - |
| Secret missing | The named workspace secret could not be found. |
| Variable missing | The variable had no value when the step ran. |
| Step failed | Open **Details** for the HTTP status, call attempts, or validation error. |
