# Calendar integrations

> Connect Cal.com or Calendly and give an agent selected booking actions.

Persistence supports Cal.com and Calendly connections for calendar actions.

## Connect a calendar

  <Step title="Store the credential">
    For Cal.com, use an API key. For Calendly, use a personal access token. Store reusable credentials in [Secrets](/accounts/secrets).

  <Step title="Add the connection">
    Open **Integrations**, choose the provider, name the account, and enter or reference its credential.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose an event type">
    In the agent's calendar action, select the connection and event type.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Limit the actions">
    Enable at least one of **Check availability**, **Book appointment**, **Cancel booking**, or **Reschedule booking**.

Describe when the agent should use the calendar and what it must confirm before making a change. Test time zones, unavailable slots, ambiguous dates, and provider errors.
