The Slack integration lets an agent send messages to approved channels.

Add an account

Open Integrations, choose Slack, provide a unique account name, and complete the Bot OAuth connection.

Select channels

Choose the public or private channels the bot may use. Do not approve channels unrelated to the workflow.

Add the tool

Make the connected Send message tool available only to agents that require it.

Test the message

Run a simulated call and verify the destination, content, failure behavior, and absence of sensitive data.
Disconnecting the account immediately stops agents from using its tools. Review agent dependencies before disconnecting or removing channel access.
